Hey there!  My name is Skyler Lauren and I’m a Senior iOS Developer who loves pixel art, retro games, and pizza — the meat-and-cheese kind, no veggies, and absolutely zero onions (onions are the enemy, trust me). I made Sprite Creator because I wanted a good app to make sprites, but couldn’t find one that was simple, easy to use, and had all the features I wanted. So, naturally, I built my own.

At home, I’ve got two amazing kids and four pets—two cats and two dogs—but full disclosure: they’re really my wife’s pets. I’m not an animal person, but I tolerate them… mostly because I have no choice.  You won’t catch me openly admitting that I enjoy these orange cats “helping” me code every day by sitting on my keyboard and demanding cuddles.

​I’m obsessively detail-oriented (like, if one pixel is off, I’ll find it) and I’m not shy about calling out what’s wrong. I actually love my job as an iOS developer — coding and creating apps.  That’s my idea of a good time.
